The NYNG Counterdrug Program leverages a wide range of resources and partnerships to enhance our capabilities in combating drug trafficking. We utilize cutting-edge tools, intelligence, and training to stay ahead of evolving drug trafficking tactics. By continuously updating our knowledge base and strategies, we remain agile in the ongoing fight against drug-related threats.

  • The El Paso Intelligence Center (EPIC) is the nationally-recognized fusion center. The center’s website can provide analytical products and accessintelligence resources. 

  • RISS offers secure information sharing and communications capabilities, critical analytical and investigative support services, and event deconfliction to enhance officer safety. RISS supports efforts against organized and violent crime, gang activity, drug activity, terrorism and violent extremism, human trafficking, identity theft, cybercrime, and other regional priorities.

  • The HIDTA program oversees 33 regional HIDTAs in all 50 states. HIDTA’s goal is to disrupt the market for illegal drugs by dismantling drug trafficking and/or money laundering organizations.

  • The purpose of IALEIA is to advance high standards of professionalism in law enforcement intelligence analysis at the local, state/provincial, national, and international levels. Their aim is to enhance understanding of the role of intelligence analysis, encourage the recognition of intelligence analysis as a professional endeavor, develop international qualification and competency standards, reinforce professional concepts, devise training standards and curricula, furnish advisory and related services on intelligence analysis matters, conduct analytic-related research studies, and provide the ability to disseminate information regarding analytical techniques and methods
